Minor nail surgery

Minor nail surgery, also known as Partial Nail Avulsion, is a procedure performed by removing a piece of the nail from the edge of the ingown nail so that the ingrown nail does not recur. During the procedure, a chemical substance is applied to that area to prevent the re-growth of the removed piece of nail.

  • Hospitalisation is not needed for this procedure. Air plane travel is safe a day after the procedure.
